Executive Manager/Principal Consultant

Dr. Pat Riley has a heart for God, inner-city residents, service providers, and faith-based institutions that offer online courses for diverse urban communities. She is the chief executive officer of Living Water Urban Ministry and the executive manager and principal consultant for Urban Access Talk, LLC. Riley uses creative planning, designing, and implementing custom ministry structures for faith-based institutions to achieve their God-given vision and mission. She has over twenty-five years of experience working with diverse populations that attend or receive services from multiple faith-based, nonprofit, and for-profit institutions. Riley’s expertise supports individuals’ work-life balance, transitions, and relationships. She provides solution-focused coaching for groups and individuals. Previously, she served as an intern chaplain in the Clinical Pastoral Education Department at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, New York.

In 2015, Riley completed a Master of Divinity degree from New York Theological Seminary. Her credo submission was titled “From the Streets to Pulpit: Message of Liberation Theology.” In 2019, New York Theological Seminary awarded her a doctoral degree in ministry. Her doctoral demonstration project, “Resiliency in the Church: Mental Health and Resources,” focused on trauma-informed care. 

Riley holds a New York State Office of Professions license as a Master Social Worker. She provides clinical supervision to undergraduate- and master-level students attending social work and adult education institutions. Riley’s professional work and community service experience have resulted in building a network of subject matter experts to work with her as servant leaders and co-laborers for God.
